Earl L. Vandermeulen High School’s Hackathon Team Participated at the Saint Joseph’s College’s 21st Annual High School Programming Competition

Earl L. Vandermeulen High School participated in Saint Joseph’s College’s prestigious High School Programming Competition alongside a cohort of 33 teams from schools across Long Island and as far away as Fort Lee, New Jersey. The event, the 21st annual, showcased students’ talent, innovation, and coding skills.

“It was exciting for our students to represent Earl L. Vandermeulen High School at Saint Joseph’s College’s 21st Annual High School Programming Competition,” said Winifred Kuemmel, Earl L. Vanermeulen High School’s math teacher. “This competition provided a unique opportunity for students to showcase their programming abilities while engaging in friendly competition with peers from other schools.”

The Hackathon team from Earl L. Vandermeulen High School comprised a group of talented students who were eager to put their programming skills to the test in the highly competitive event. Guided by their passion for technology and a drive for excellence, the team was prepared to tackle a series of challenging coding problems and demonstrate their ability to think critically and creatively under pressure.
