Port Jefferson’s Earl L. Vandermeulen High School students recently participated in the closing ceremony for the High School Research Program (HSRP), which was held at Brookhaven National Laboratory.
The HSRP is an esteemed six-week educational program for high school students passionate about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). This highly competitive program provides a unique opportunity for students to engage in cutting-edge research, collaborate with scientists, and enhance their understanding of the STEM fields.
At the closing ceremony, Earl L. Vandermeulen High School students had the opportunity to showcase their hard work and innovative research through a comprehensive poster session. This session culminated their summer-long dedication and learning experience, highlighting their projects and findings in front of peers, mentors, and guests.
