Edna Louise Spear Elementary School fourth grade student-musicians Emma DeMaria, Shelby Olive and Scarlette Russo participated in the annual Suffolk County Music Educators’ Association PEAK (Parents, Educators and Kids) Festival on Oct. 28. Elementary music teacher Ms. Laurel Zimlinghaus joined the musical students and their parents at the event with workshops, musical activities, games and improvisation as highlights.
The PEAK Festival is a unique celebration of elementary classroom music where students from across Suffolk County performed alongside their parents and music teachers.
