Sherlock Holmes is on the case in the Earl L. Vandermeulen High School Drama Club’s production of Ken Ludwig’s “Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery.”

After weeks of rehearsal, the students will take the stage with three weekend performances of this transformation of Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic “The Hound of the Baskervilles” into a murderously funny adventure.

“When this play originated on Broadway it consisted of five actors: one to play Sherlock, one to play Watson and three others to play over 40 different parts,” Director Tony Butera said. “This version is a variation on that. We have a cast of 10 to play all the parts (including animals and babies), one changeable set and many hysterical accents flying around!”

Performance times are Friday, Nov. 17, and Saturday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m.; and Sunday, Nov. 19, at 2 p.m. Donation is $5 per person and the show runs approximately two hours.
