The Port Jefferson School District received a Center for Culinary Excellence honor from Whitson’s Culinary Group. Head chef Robin Hoolahan and kitchen staff at the High School were applauded by Principal John Ruggero. The prestigious designation recognizes locations that have achieved the highest form of quality assurance by attaining a score of 95% or above on their quality assurance audits and have passed all the requirements in meeting their safety, financial and training goals.
“They go above and beyond for the students of Port Jefferson,” Mr. Ruggero said.
In addition to Ms. Hoolahan, thank you to our kitchen staff for caring for our students: Barbara Aloia, Krysta Minatta, Ann Marie Mazuryan, Diane Van Middelem and Karen Wuttke.
