Please know that in the coming weeks, the District will begin much needed maintenance on the Middle and High School fields. Drainage and severe wear & tear on both the lower bowl area and the upper football field will be addressed. This work is funded through our year end budget carryover from the 2022-2023 school year.

As part of the renovation, both fields will be leveled; the football field will be sodded; and the bowl field will have sod installed in previously identified worn areas. Work on the lower bowl will begin on Oct. 17 with an expected completion date of Oct. 31, and work on the football field will begin on Oct. 31 with an expected completion date of Nov. 14. Of course, this timeline is fluid and contingent on the weather.

In order to promote growth in the newly sodded areas, we ask that all students, staff and community members refrain from going onto the fields until April 1, 2024. In addition, during the football field maintenance (Oct. 31-Nov. 14) access to the high school track will be prohibited. The tennis courts will remain open during the entire construction phase with a normal winter closing on November 20.
