On The Spot: MS/HS PE Renovations
Proposition 1 includes renovating the MS/HS boys and girls’ PE locker rooms, nurse’s office, Wellfit room and trainer’s office. Downstairs renovations make room for technology and art classes to come inside to the team room. Vote Monday, Dec. 12, 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. in our HS cafeteria.

Absentee Ballot Information
Applications for absentee ballots for the December 12, 2022 Bond Referendum Vote may be obtained from the District Clerk located at 550 Scraggy Hill Road between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, except holidays.
If the ballot is to be mailed to the voter, the completed application must be received by the District Clerk by Monday, December 5, 2022. If the ballot is to be delivered personally to the voter, the completed application must be received by the District Clerk no later than Friday, December 2. Completed ballots must be received by the District Clerk no later than 5:00 P.M. day of vote.

Save the Dates: PJSD Sets Dates for School Tours
Three tour dates for the December 12, 2022 Bond Referendum have been
scheduled. The tours will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 5 p.m.;
Saturday, Oct. 29, at 9 a.m. and Thursday, Nov. 17, at 7 p.m. and will
be approximately one hour in length. Attendees will meet in the main
lobby of the High School/Middle School and will need to check in at the
security vestibule. During the tours, community members will have an
opportunity to ask questions of administration.
The proposal contains two propositions that cover much-needed facilities
renovations. Proposition No. 1, in the amount of $23,127,000, focuses
on key instruction and infrastructure needs, including improving indoor
air quality, maximizing the efficiencies of building spaces, updating
bathrooms for accessibility and enhancing student safety by bringing all
programs into the main building at the Middle School and High School.
Proposition No. 2, in the amount of $1,876,000, calls for the
installation of a turf field at the High School to increase field use
playability for all students. Please note, Proposition No. 2 is
contingent on the passing of Proposition No. 1.
