What Does A Counselor Do?
As the school counselor, I provide group and individual counseling services as well as classroom lessons.
Counseling sessions are tailored to fit the students' needs and may address issues such as conflict resolution, behavior modification, bereavement, divorce or separation, self-esteem enhancement, anxiety reduction, and coping skills. Classroom lessons may also be conducted on social skills, familial differences, responsibility, honesty, friendship, and accepting differences.
I am available to meet with both parents and teachers to ensure optimal student performance. Please feel free to contact me at the elementary school to discuss your child's needs.
