In the spirit of Thanksgiving, second-graders in Mrs. Carleen Parmegiani’s class were filled with gratitude as students participated in an autumn-inspired gathering with family members. Each student shared what being grateful means to them and parents and grandparents assisted as they created a unique holiday craft in which they wrote on strips of orange paper what they are thankful for, attached them together to form a pumpkin shape and added green paper leaves and vines for a finished table centerpiece for their family’s Thanksgiving celebration.
