Students in Michael Maletta’s seventh-grade health class have been learning about the six pillars of character – trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship – and were assigned to create posters to promote the positive and negative aspects of each pillar.

“They are learning that these core ethical values are essential in helping them to think before they act,” Mr. Maletta said, “and to reinforce that they are responsible and accountable for their choices.”
