Eighteen student volunteers from the high school’s Interact Club and Port Jefferson Middle School’s National Junior Honor Society visited Camp Paquatuck in Center Moriches as part of an annual fall cleanup. They united with the Port Jefferson Rotary Club and several other organizations to help with the upkeep of the property by raking the grounds and cleaning up the bunks.

“In the spring, we will return to plant flowers and get everything ready for the campers with special needs who attend the camp throughout the summer months,” said Interact adviser Deirdre Filippi, who attended along with NJHS adviser Kayleen Everitt.
