Gymnasium Floor Replacement
As a result of the significant water damage caused by the September storm, the gymnasium floor at Earl L. Vandermeulen High School has begun to buckle. To ensure the safety of our students and staff, the district has begun to remove the damaged flooring and will be installing a new floor in the coming weeks. As such, the gymnasium will be closed and physical education classes will be relocated. The project, which is expected to take 4-6 weeks, will be covered by the district’s insurance policy. It is our hope that the work will be complete in time for the start of the winter sports season.
