Port Jefferson is a Top School District

Port Jefferson School District has been named as one of the best school districts in New York State. Niche.com recently ranked the school district 55th in the state and eighth in Suffolk County as part of its 2017 best schools review.

The district was among 670 school districts across New York State, which were rated based on academics, culture and diversity, health and safety, teachers, resources, clubs and activities, and overall experiences by parents and students.  

“We are proud that our district was ranked as one of the best in the state,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Paul Casciano. “It is a tribute to our students, teachers, staff and administrators.”
