Members of the high school orchestra contributed their musical talents to a recent ceremony for the Village of Port Jefferson’s rebuilding of Rocketship Park. Students Xinyi Hong, Ibuki Iwasaki, Ava Schully, Luigia Than and Annalisa Welinder performed a selection of pieces for an audience of village residents and local dignitaries, including Port Jefferson Village Mayor Margot Garant, who led the ceremony.
