Vocalist Attends Summer Choral Program
High school senior Chris Mannarino experienced a college-level music program offered through SUNY Fredonia’s Summer School for the Arts Program.
To gain entrance into the prestigious program, Chris was required to participate in a challenging vocal audition process. Through the four-week program, he studied music theory and learned intensive vocal techniques while singing in the program’s choir.
“This program was a great experience,” said Chris. “I learned a lot and made many new connections.”
Chris, who has been singing since the age of 7, also plays the drums, keyboard, guitar and bass. In addition, he participates in theater productions at the Smithtown Performing Arts Center.
