To conclude their inaugural school year as an official high school club, the Varsity Club worked together to raise $400 for the Wounded Warrior Project.

To garner the funds, Port Jefferson students James Murphy and Dylan Wennerod, with the help of advisor Jesse Rosen, organized a well-attended, after-school, donation-based speedball tournament for students and staff.

The club members hope to build on the success of the event next year and raise even more money for the Wounded Warrior Project.
