Living Biography Museum
Dressed in period costumes, third-graders recently participated in a Living Biography Museum.
The museum culminated a month-long project in which the students in Nancy Winkler-Brogan’s class each selected a figure to research. The students then brought the figures to life during the Living Biography Museum, which was attended by the student’s peers, friends and family. Each third-grader presented a five-minute speech in front of poster boards describing their figure.
Among the figures the students presented information on were Elvis, Blackbeard, Dr. Seuss and Michelle Obama.
