SUNY’s ‘Artists as Innovators’ Engages Art Students
High School art students visited the Paul W. Zuccaire Gallery at SUNY
Stony Brook's Staller Center to view the "Artists as Innovators"
exhibit. The Studio in Art students, accompanied by art teacher Nancy
Randazzo, viewed the works of more than 20 artists who received support
from the New York State Council on the Arts and New York Foundation for
the Arts Fellowships who have recorded significant achievements in their
artistic careers. During their visit, Karen Levitov, director and
curator for the gallery, spoke with the students about the techniques
and inspiration behind the artists’ works.
